Delete a ShekiVerse account
Last updated:
This page explains how to delete data from the ShekiVerse app, published by ELK Consulting LTD. You can delete your child’s profile or your parent account at any time, without giving a reason and free of charge.
1. Delete a child profile
- sign in to the parent space: parents.shekiverse.com;
- open your child’s profile;
- choose “Delete profile” and confirm.
The profile, its messages, friends, settings and the device link are erased immediately. Your child’s device is signed out; the games and the Academy can still be used without an account.
2. Delete your parent account
- sign in to the parent space: parents.shekiverse.com;
- open “My account”;
- enter your password, tick the confirmation box and choose “Delete my account”.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. It also erases every child profile attached to your account and signs out every linked device.
3. You no longer have access to your account
Write to privacy@shekiverse.com from your account’s email address, with the subject “Account deletion”. To protect families, we may ask you to confirm that you are the account holder. The request is handled within 7 days, and we confirm the deletion by email.
4. What is deleted
- your email address, password, country and language;
- the status and history of your parental verification;
- child profiles: nicknames, month and year of birth, languages, settings;
- friends, requests, blocks, messages and reports made by your children;
- every sign-in session, parent and children.
5. What we keep
Only what the law requires us to keep, and security logs: they record that an action happened (for example “account deleted”) and when, but contain neither message content nor the email address. They are kept as long as needed for the security of the service and our legal obligations, then erased.
A report made by another child before deletion stays in our moderation tool, but it is no longer linked to the deleted profile and no longer contains the message.
6. Without an account
If your child only uses the games and the Academy without an account, no data is stored with us: progress stays on the device. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in the phone’s settings, erases everything.
